On the navigation pane to the Left you will find all the information you need to know about the Vermeer Workshop. The Vermeer Workshop Committee is very excited about the Bible Vermeer Workshop to be held June 8-12 and very grateful for the continued support of the Vermeer Charitable Foundation.</h1> <br /> <h3><u>Taking the Vermeer Workshop for Credit?</u></h3> As in past years, Vermeer Workshop Attendees can take the workshop for 2 renewal credits ($25) or 2 Drake Graduate Credits ($200). Teachers taking the Workshop for credit must complete the following requirements:<br /> <ol><li>100% participation is required (there are no excused absences allowed)</li><li>Completion of a workshop reflection and application paper. This paper will (1) summarize workshop activities, (2) show reflection and thought of workshop activities, (3) show specifically how you will apply new information to your teaching.</li><li>The assignment must be turned in on time preferably via e-mail to <a class="wiki_link_ext" href="mailto:tegrotenhuisd@pellachristian.net" rel="nofollow">David Te Grotenhuis</a>. (One week after the workshop is completed)</li></ol><h5><u><strong>Scoring Rubric for Renewal or Graduate Credit:</strong></u></h5> <span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"> </span>100% participation is required. As per AEA requirement, there are no excused absences.<br /> 1. Assignment completed on time<br /> - 3 - Handed in on time<br /> - 2 - Late with permission<br /> - 1 - Late without notification<br /> 2. The reflection paper gives an overview of sessions attended:<br /> - 3 - Content, themes, and concepts of the course are explained and paper shows an understanding each.<br /> - 2 - Content themes and concepts of the course are explained and understanding is lacking.<br /> - 1 - Major content themes and concepts not included in the overview and little thought put into understanding.<br /> 3. Personal Application<br /> - 3 - Integrates course content with specific workable application<br /> - 2 - Includes some content & application<br /> - 1 - Not complete.
