Katie Peterson has a passion for bringing the Bible to life for kids in meaningful, applicable ways. Her zeal comes from a desire for kids in this generation to not just know the Bible but to be equipped to live God-centered lives in this world. She lives on a small acreage outside of Pella with her husband Jesse, and their three children, Braydon (7), Annika (6) and Jace (1). Graduating from Central College in ’99, she has been a 5th & 2nd grade classroom teacher, held several coaching positions ranging from kindergarten soccer to junior varsity basketball, ran an in-home Christian daycare and is in her 5th year of employment at Third Church where she is currently the director of children’s ministry.
